The Disciples Divinity House offers an exceptional residential scholarship program in conjunction with the Divinity School of the University of Chicago and as one of the seven theological education institutions of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Through these affiliations, women and men are prepared for visionary leadership in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and in the wider world.

The residential scholarship program cultivates the arts of ministry and scholarship. It includes substantial financial aid, educational programs, and a lively community of faith and learning. Scholars of the Disciples Divinity House are also students of the Divinity School of the University of Chicago, where they pursue MDiv, MA, or PhD degrees.

Additional programs for alumni/ae, laypersons, ministers, and scholars aim to foster conversation about religion, theology, and contemporary life, and to further critical engagement towards the flourishing of individuals, religious communities, and common life.
